Amazing place that's incredibly popular with locals. Love that it opens till late into the night. This place is known for its Tonkatsu (fried pork cutlet) set meals. Other things you MUST try: - Stir fried Kimchi pork slices- Goya champuru (stir fried bittergourd with egg and pork slices)- Awamori They have an English menu with photos so that helps. Their staff aren't good with English but that's okay since they're very polite and warm.

Very Local Okinawa foods restaurant. Wait for 20 mins on Friday night. Service was good but food was mediocre. Menu wasn't easy to read for foreigner. Everyone was smoking there which let me feel uncomfortable. Tofu cuisine was very mediocre. Feature pork was mediocre, too. Chicken skewers was also mediocre. Deep fries was the best one.Because smoking and mediocre food. I won't come back.If you think my review is useful, please give me a like.

Flavourful set menus with lots of side dishes. Water and barley tea is free of charge. One of the best meals I've had in Okinawa!

Good atmosphere, tasty Okinawa style Izakaya food with Chinese, English and Korean menu. Try their seaweed tempura (もずく Mozuku, a local algae) and kimichi fry udon. Service is polite but a bit slow, they just too busy. Expect to queue for seating.

Good things:Not expensive with a very large set of food which you might not be able to even just finish it! It has Chinese and English menu.Food is delicious.A good place to experience the locals' lives. (I have seen a lot of locals there)Bad thing:Smoking is allowed but the ventilation is good enough to avoid the smell if you sit further enough from the smoker.Some seats are just on the floor. If you have elderlies, then better come earlier before those real seats are occupied.Remarks:Come earlier at around 6pm. There's no queue at this time and you can get more seats to choose from. You can even park outside the restaurant on the street! But it gets prettg full if you are a little late. A open-field parking lot is available just as you turn away from the main road.

It's just behind the restaurant. It's a very traditional restaurant with a special puffer fish lamp decoration! There are many people at dinner (half the locals and tourists), it is recommended to avoid the peak period.I have a Chinese menu for ordering. The staff will speak simple English. Fortunately for 3 people, I can order a lot of things I want to eat. Okinawa special snacks are also available. Each one is fresh and delicious. Alcohol can be ordered, personally think it is not expensive to share it alone, it is recommended.

Easily one of the best meals I had in Okinawa. Generous variety in their set menus for a really reasonable price. My set of 9-10 items cost just 1300 yen and each dish was perfect.

Traditional Teishoku place! We had dinner there at about 7pm and it was crowded! We had to wait for about 20 minutes before getting a seat at the counter. Recommended to make a reservation first if you do not what to wait. Nice cozy place with friendly staff. Staff only knows minimal English but was still able to communicate. Portions were quite big and price is reasonable. I ordered the recommended bitter gourd with eggs! It was really tasty! They serve a quite a few vegetarian dishes. Love the puffy fish lights!
